ANCT-TL was established with the goal of reducing tobacco use in Timor-Leste.
- 📘 Educating communities on tobacco’s health and economic harms in Timor-Leste.
- ⚖️ Advocating for stronger enforcement of the Tobacco Law with Government by surveillance and monitoring of smoke free places.
- 🤝 Building capacity among civil societies and youth who are active in anti-tobacco work.
- 🏛️ Partnering with Government and Parliament to implemente of tabacco law in Timor-Leste.
- 🔬 Conducting impactful health and economic research in Timor-Leste.

Our Mission
“The mission of ANCT-TL is to empower the members by giving current information and planning strategically for the advocacy to government and their relevant departments, agencies and other civil societies working on reducing or eliminating tobacco use. ANCT-TL as a national organization will work collaboratively with others with the same vision to achieve evidence based research that will contribute to the knowledge and issues resulting from tobacco use."
